Do you want your health data collected by Google Fit synced to S Health? Or the other way around: health data in S Health to be synced to Google Fit? Health Sync offers you the possibility to sync Steps, Exercises/Activities, Sleep, Weight, Water intake, Blood pressure and Heart rate from S Health to Google Fit, or from Google Fit to S Health. Health Sync will sync automatically one to six times per hour, you can choose how often. You can also perform a manual sync. It will sync data starting at the day before you first uses the app. History data (all data before the day of installation) can be synced from Samsung Health to Google Fit (not the reverse direction) after the free trail period. Syncing history data from Google Fit to Samsung Health will be added in the next mayor upgrade (probably in June 2017).
Health Sync is very easy to use. It offers you a one week free trial period. After that you have to pay a small subscription amount or a one time purchase to continue using Health Sync.
Weight and heart rates are synced in both directions: from S Health to Google Fit and from Google Fit to S Health. The other health data (steps, sleep, exercise/activity) are only synced in one direction: from S Health to Google Fit or from Google Fit to S Health. It is technically not possible to sync this health data in both directions.
In S Health it is possible to make a distinction between steps counted by your phone, or steps counted by connected devices like smart watches. You can combine these steps: Health Sync calculates when you use your Gear device and will only sync the phone recorded steps at times you don't use your Gear device.
Mail to info@appyhapps.nl if you would like additional health data to be synced. When the sync doesn't work correctly you can send Health Sync Problem Report to the developer (this is an option in the menu of Health Sync).
